West Germany, A Still Life: An Inventory of the home of Mr. and Mrs. B."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BLACKBOX #3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his work, Berlin photographer Christian Werner \n(born in 1977) has engaged repeatedly with the aesthetic of West Germany\n before reunification. In 2014, a friend asked him to photograph the \nhome of his grandfather, who had just died recently. The photographs \ntaken over the course of just one day are very personal shots that \nreveal a great deal about the residents of this home and their typically\n West German lifestyle. In the poetic images, nothing has been arranged,\n and yet they show the photographer\u2019s very unique take on a world that \nhas virtually disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the series Blackbox, exhibitions on \nposter design, graphic design, and photography are shown at regular \nintervals.
