{"id":165,"date":"2018-09-29T14:35:43","date_gmt":"2018-09-29T12:35:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.broehan-museum.de\/en\/?p=165"},"modified":"2025-02-20T11:53:00","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T10:53:00","slug":"dieter-hacker-political-photography-1974-1981","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.broehan-museum.de\/en\/exhibition\/dieter-hacker-political-photography-1974-1981\/","title":{"rendered":"Dieter Hacker \u2013 political photography (1974\u20131981)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Blackbox #5<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.emop-berlin.eu\/de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EMOP Berlin &#8211; European Month of Photography<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the 1970s, the artist Dieter Hacker (born in 1942), today best known for his painting, worked intensely with amateur photography as an artistic political medium as coeditor of the the journal &#8220;Volksfoto: Zeitung f\u00fcr Fotografie&#8221; with Andreas Seltzer. A total of six issues were accompanied by exhibitions in which analogous photographs that Hacker received from private individuals were used to create interactive installations.
