Cesar Klein was involved in numerous theater productions, for which he designed the sets. Through his spatial designs, he brought the settings from the stories to the theater stage and created powerful atmospheric environments. Together, we’ll get to know this versatile artist and the exhibition “Cesar Klein: Image, Space, Stage,” and follow in his footsteps: Create your own small three-dimensional stage sets and bring your own worlds to life!

Art doesn’t belong only on the canvas! That’s what the artist Cesar Klein believed over 100 years ago, which is why—in addition to small-scale mosaics—he also designed colorful stained-glass windows for public buildings, churches, and upper-class residences. Thanks to daylight and colored glass, these works shone with particular beauty. We want to make use of the same effect: Following a playful guided tour of the exhibition “Cesar Klein: Image, Space, Stage,” you’ll create Christmas window decorations using colorful tracing paper.
